They're soft, intensely luxurious yarns, and when held together they make a subtly marled fabric in both texture and color. It’s exquisite and exactly the kind of thing you want to wrap around your neck. I got a gauge of 33 stitches and 40 rows to 4'' (10 cm) in the specified cable pattern, and used 3 hanks of each yarn.
